Rihanna sported a sleek tuxedo look at her latest movie premiere — but was this jumpsuit a bit too simple for the sexy singer? VOTE!

As she continues hitting the red carpet to promote her new film, Battleship, Rihanna hasn’t stopped surprising us with her unexpected premiere outfits! At her latest Sydney premiere on April 10, the 24-year-old stepped out in a rather simple all-black tuxedo — and it isn’t the first time she wore menswear!

As she posed for the cameras, RiRi worked the red carpet in a black Stella McCartney jumpsuit, which she paired with matching sandals. Keeping the look super simple, she accessorized with a high bun, gold hooped earrings and a red pout — not a look we see on the singer too often!

While we definitely prefer this elegant style way more than the sans-pant-looks she has sported in the past, this all-black getup on Rihanna is slightly underwhelming, perhaps some color would’ve brightened up this otherwise chic sophisticated style — do you agree?

RiRi hit the red carpet in a blue-and-gold pajama-inspired ensemble — but did she look like she just got out of bed? VOTE!

While working the red carpet at the Tokyo premiere of her new film Battleship on Apr. 3, Rihanna didn’t fail to surprise us with her latest get-up! As she posed for the cameras, the sexy singer sported a metallic blue-and-gold two-piece Emilio Pucci outfit — she looked beautiful, but does it almost look like she’s wearing a pair of pajamas on the red carpet? I think she took the printed pants trend a bit too far!

Straight from the Fall 2012 collection, the loose-fitting outfit consisted of a shirt that tied around the waist and also incorporated the plunging neckline trend — which always looks fabulous on Rihanna — along with a pair of matching trousers. The 24-year-old chose to complete the shiny style with nude sandals, gold jewelry and her newly dark locks, which really popped against the light colors.

While it’s hard not to be reminded of sleepwear, we think Rihanna took this unexpected style and made it look chic and sophisticated — but it still seemed a bit too pajama-like for the red carpet.
