Rihanna loves to shock her fans, but even we didn’t see this one coming. On April 19, the Barbarian princess went out for a wild night on the town in Malibu. Her date for the night was Melissa Forde, and by the look of it, they’re more than just friends. “I’m on my first date in almost 2 years,” the 24-year-old tweeted.

The ladies got the party started with dinner at Malibu hotspot Giorgio Baldi, and later headed to the famed Roxbury nightclub in Hollywood, where they partied into the wee hours of the morning. On their way out of the restaurant, they could be seen holding hands.

Throughout the night, RiRi kept her 18 million Twitter followers updated on her whereabouts, hinting at a possible romance.

“#datenight my lover for the night @mforde11,” she posted, along with an intimate photo of the pair.

A little later, she wrote, “I’m not living right, if you’re not by my side.” It doesn’t sound like Rihanna is making any effort to hide the nature of her relationship with Melissa!

“Beautiful is great, submissive is even better. Bawse bitch who’s submissive yet the captain of the ship n HONEST…#priceless,” she later wrote, adding, “But she bad… So maybe she won’t…. But shit, then again maybe she will.”

According to a report on Radar Online, there has been speculation that Rihanna and Melissa are lovers, as they have matching tattoos that read, “never a failure, always a lesson.” she only toying with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown‘s heart?
